Day 5

Still sick.
Being a stubborn 5 year old and not wanting to rest,
made me able to complete our first sample of Miss Bo Peep Blouse.
Now back to bed whether i like it or not.

Day 4

Am sick and down with the worse sore throat, flu, u name it.
Should be sleeping and resting.
But the heck with it, sewing makes me feel better,
they're my meds.

Day 2

I underestimated our home. There's quite a lot of interesting nooks and lovely things for me to play around with. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to go out and shoot everyday. Well that solves it, on those lazy to go out days, I'll learn to be creative at home, most prolly just in my pjs
:)

Day 1

I've been very disciplined in making sure to snap at least a photo everyday. Him and I thought we wouldn't want each day to just pass by us, so that in years to come we could look back and remember that particular moment we were in. Despite how mundane things are in our life, we're happy that its ours. We like mundane :)

Here's today. It rained. I worked and researched. He came home from work made a point to butt in whatever I was doing.

Quilted Taggie Cloth

I got these yummy fabric pieces at Meet Me at Mikes and tried figuring out what to make of them since I didn't purchase that many pieces. Been wanting to create baby's cloth that's practical and yet pretty so together with the few ideas I've already had in mind, in no time these cloths were made. A layer of patchwork and another layer of soft towel cloth making this cloth perfect for drooling little ones and messy little eaters. I know how much babies love to suck and munch on anything in sight especially tags, i know my little niece do. The ribbon tags attached at the corners would be great for them to do just that. They might be something to wipe and clean but mommy's gotta look good doing it :)

I see black and I see white

Made a vow to take at least a shot a day for a year. Being the easily distracted person that I am, let's just see if I could stick through a month. On a related note, Our talented photographer/architect friends, Chern and Faiz presented us with these lovely black and white photos taken on films over a year ago and Chern produced these babies in his very own dark room back in Melbourne. Now that I'm back home, I will force myself to complete our full wall photo frames project, and by full i mean FULL, the entire wall! The photos couldn't have come at a better time, thanks guys!!
