Hiatus

Whimsigirl Design will be on hiatus until February ends. At least until I happily return home to my very much missed Sewing Machine. But Whimsigirl Blog will still run from time to time.
I miss Him too.

Vintage Reproduction

On my days off from work, I scouted around for those gorgeous fabrics that I would never find in KL in a million years. Lucky enough I found exactly what I wanted. How adorable are these reproduction fabrics. If I could, I would fly home right this second just so that I could get started on sewing these babies.

Pretty In Green

Over the years I've become really really fussy when it comes to shoes and bags. Anal is the word. There are thousands if not millions of beautiful shoes and bags out there, but there're only few pieces out there, that stand out and truly has genuine characters. Imagine my excitement when I found one that fits the bill. This Emerald Green pump spoke to me in language only I would understand. But also imagine my disappointment when they only bring few pieces into the store and they don't produce the shoe in my size. Damn you small feets ladies. I just had to try them on and see how it look just to make myself feel better, I squished and squished my giant feet into the shoe until feet aches and eventually became numb. Dont care.

I would walk miles with this baby, and won't even mind the pain. I would sleep with it. I would walk around the house with it. I would dance all night with it. I would do chores with it. It's not meant to be, I hope someone else would find happiness and joy in them.

I hear Bells

This exact month last year was one of the most exciting time of my life. And the busiest. And on the 30th of this month He and I turn officially turn 1, matrimonial speaking at least. In celebration of this month, I've decided to blog on the wedding since I've never really shared wedding stories or even photos for that matter. All the Pre, During & Post. Where do I even begin. There were 4 photographers, 4 events, with around 1000 over images each. You do the math. I'm screaming on the inside. But it'll be fun. Ok now i'm excited. Bye.

Who has gardens like these?!
These lucky people do. Pfft.

Note to husband: If you were to built me a small studio surrounded by garden of peonies and hydrangeas in our future, I'll be eternally grateful, thank u babe. Just sayin'

Foodies On The Road

The Colorful Foodies during the many many road stops.

Johanna Beach

Spent a day driving down the Great Ocean Road. Took our own sweet time while making LOTS of stops at places that we thought was cute and worthwhile, in our case, No Touristy Spots. Hah! The beach was scenic like you wouldn't believe, and quiet! Just the sound of the waves crashing. It's like being in a world where no one else exists but you.
